Filtration Technology

Kansan Materials provides sustainable and innovative Water Recovery and Filtration System

Spunlace filtration systems operate with coagulant and flotation chemicals to remove solid particles and impurities from water. A key component of this system, sand filters, must run continuously to prevent clogging, even during production downtimes. These water-supported filters accumulate contaminants over time and require periodic backwashing. However, the backwash water contains chemicals, fibers, and other pollutants, rendering it waste. As a result, an average of 12 m³ of wastewater is discharged into the sewage system per hour (this amount may vary by ±3 m³).

MACHINERY SOLUTIONS

KANSAN Materials offer leading solutions for the nonwoven machinery.

The KM Water Recovery System (KM Wrs) is designed to recycle the waste backwash water from sand filters for reuse in the system. The system consists of coarse, medium, and fine filtration stages and offers a maximum water saving of 15 m³ per hour. It provides an eco-friendly and sustainable solution, promoting efficient water usage. With its mobile design and compact installation, the system offers flexibility and ease of use. These water-supported filters ensure the efficient recovery of water, contributing to sustainability.
